Update to this post, for people who replied:
Bot the HP 485. Stuffed 2 1T drives in, both formatted 64k, with one in the pool and the other designated as backup. Using a Hauppauge 1950 card. Reception quality not as good as Tivo on medium, but ok. Most of the Sage setup on WHS was pretty trivial with RD. Put Placeshifter on my primary PC for control purposes. Licensure was fairly transparent, once I figured out that I needed placeshifter and not client on the one PC which will be interacting with the server. So, the server is, by and large, up and running. The HD-200 I can't get to work at all, but that's a story for a different post. Thanks again to all. |
