Attempting to play DVD hangs Sage 2

This didn't occur with Sage 1.4, but with Sage 2 (at least the ones I've been testing, .12, .13 and .14), whenever I pop a DVD in the DVD drive and hit "Play DVD"...Sage hangs. My only choice at that point is to kill the process from the task manager.

Anyone else experiencing this problem? Any ideas what I can check?

just another DVD question but why does the remote not respond to the DVD menus
I am referring to having a movie main menu available in Sage but I cannot get the movie(DVD) to start playing or respond to any commands

I'm seeing this right now too, but I have a bunch of very specific setup issues going on so I don't have anything yet that could help other than to say I can't either. Sorry.

Are you using VMR9? I get no feedback (no highlights) with VMR9 but I can still navigate (makes it tough without seeing where you are though).

I get the no highlights with sonic and VRM9, I swapped to windvd and the highlights are back. So it appears to be a sonic issue maybe. Atleast for me.

I have the same problem. I have used WinDVD and PowerDVD with both Overlay and VRM9.
I have never used 1.4. I have only been using SageTV since 2.0.13
Has anyone else experienced this behavior... or better yet some suggestions?
