Terratec Cinergy 2400 and DVB-T (MPEG4)?

I am planning to add a Terratec Cinergy 2400 to my SageTV server since I have read mostly positive comments about it here.

No doubt it works well with Mpeg2 broadcasts over DVB-T such as Freeview in the UK.

My only question is whether it will also support Mpeg4 over DVB-T.

Are there any of you in countries with DVB-T/Mpeg4 that use this card and what is your experience?

Thanks in advance!

Freeview HD will be using DVB-T2, so new devices will be required.

I know, but in my country like several others, some providers are opting for mpeg4 over DVB-T for SD channels.

It will be some time before DVB-T2 is brought in.

I'm using it with DVB-T H.264 HD broadcasts (that also carry DD+ sound track) and it works fine.

The hardware doesn't matter very much for video/audio broadcasted format, all its doing is acquiring and dumping the transport stream broadcasted. It's the software used to playback what's transmitted that matters.

Thanks for the confirmation Stephane.

I am off to buy a couple!

Media Markt (a German electronics chain) here in Greece has them for 39.90 Euro....
