MVP setup issue

I had this all setup and working a few months ago. Tore it all down to move. Just tried to set the MVP backup and it will not connect to the SageTV server. I spent more then 2 hours searching the forum for the answer. What am I missing here? Is there other software I need to have started up other then Sage? Nothing on the server has changed. I can connect to it fine with a pc running the client software. Any help?

Did your IP address change on your server? If you're using DHCP it probably did. Did another device grab the same IP that your MVP use to have? You may want to release all yout IP addresses on your devices and turn them off and make sure your server has the same IP it use to have. Or find a way to release the IP on the MVP.

Thanks for your reply. Well I have reconfigured the network since the move. There must be a way to reset the MVP so it can get a new ip..... Anyone?
