2.0.14 Multi Tuner Record Problem
Hey Folks,
I have 5 PVR 250 cards installed and working with SageTV. I upgraded from 1.4 to 2.0.14 yesterday and had a problem recording tonight. I had 2 programs scheduled to record at the same time and with 5 tuners that should have been no problem. However, only one program was recorded. It appears that SageTV is only using 1 tuner for recording, instead of selecting an unused tuner out of the pool of 5. Anybody got a fix for this? Thanks, Steve |

Reinstall all the tuners (in sage, not the tuners themselves)?

I had problems with my 3 tuner system. Setup Wizard showed all three, but only two were 'available' - and only two showed in the upcoming recording schedule. I removed the offending tuner from the Setup Wizard and added it back and all was ok.

I'd suggest going to the View Upcoming Recordings screen and select (CNTL-O or whatever you've bound it to) the pre-2.0.14B view. You should see a column for each of your enabled Tuners. To verify that they'll all "work", go to LiveTV Guide and select the same number of simultaneous current shows to record (i.e. for each Tuner, scroll to a new program and do a CNTL-Y to cause it to record). Then return to View Upcoming Recordings and you should see each column populated with the selected programs. Finally, I'd also suggest going into Detailed Setup and Calibrate each Tuner. This will give you a LIVE VIEW where you can assess/correct the quality of the Color/Brightness/etc...
