Using the standard Sage STV under the Media Center menu there is "Browse Media Files" which allows to you select a drive letter and browse the files. I'm using Sage MC, how can I add this functionality? I have tried to add a "new internal menu" and selected "My File Browser" but it doesn't give me the functionality I'm looking for..... Help!

I know this is an old post but I would like to hopefully get an solution to this as well.

If you bring up the options menu in the video library, there should be an option to 'Play Other File' (or something like that). This will open a file browser to let you choose files to play. HTH

It used to be a menu item but I moved it to the options menu to make room for something else. With limited space, something had to be moved.

I'd like to make a menu item for this on my main menu. It doesn't appear in the internal screens or SageCommands. Is there any way to hook to this function at all?
