HDTV Playback hardware
Hello !
Can someone indicate what could be the least expensive video card I could use that support DXVA and is there any site that helps to choose one of those ? I am building my system out of an HD-PVR Pcie of course ! Thanks Aramis52

I only recommend 128-bit memory pipelines as I think 64-bit can choke under 1080i H.264 fast motion with VMR-9 or EVR. Your mileage may vary Another option would be to use a motherboard that has a built in GeForce 8 series IGP or an ATI Radeon HD 3xxx built in video. All those should be able to handle HD PVR files and save you a few bucks if you don't already have a motherboard.
