HP Media Server EX 475

Let me say that the SageTV HD200 (in standalone), combined with the HP Media Server and a few TBs of hard drive space is perfect for playing videos and music on my Pioneer Elite plasma. I haven't yet purchased the license for SageTV but may need to as the database memory is full. So, if I purchase the SageTV software, I'm going to try to take full advantage and need some feedback.

The system requirements section for SageTV says it needs at least a 3ghz proc for HD Playback. I want to record over-the-air or QAM non-encrypted shows. Will HP Media Server EX475 with HDHomerun do the trick?

Is anyone running SageTV on an HP Media Server EX475 and recording HD TV shows using an HDHomerun?

The cpu requirement for HD playback is for using the PC for playback. It sounds like you are planning to use the HD200 for playback, so the SageTV server's cpu isn't the important point for playback since the HD200 handles that.
