I have been downloading the latest from google.code to use the latest apis.

Am I not suppose to? I haven't been giving anything coded in the latest apis only up the ones released.

Even still why would the call still be creating jpegs?

Don't know about above but rolled back to 1.23 and still creating .jpegs

You should use the released api's. Anything else is in active development and will likely not be stable.

Now having said that, I'm guessing that you might have a second (older) phoenix jar file in your JARs folder.

Aloha,
Mike

I just loaded up v1.23 and verified that it is working for me. It still sounds like you have an old build floating around somewhere that is superseding the new build. When the image apis were first introduced, they did only create .jpg cache files, but that was changed pretty quickly.

Try deleting the cached reflections and try it again. Maybe they need to be removed for the api to generate the correct image files.

Aloha,
Mike

I just checked again and I think there is a bug.

The first time, I applied the transform to a .png image and it cached as a .png image just fine. This time I tried it on a .jpg image and it cached the reflection as a .jpg image. I'll mention it to Sean.

Aloha,
Mike
