HD200: Won't start after it turned itself off

I was watching video (regular DivX file), paused it, the screensaver kicked in, I came back to continue watching the video. So I press play and the HD200 turns itself off.

Now it won't turn on again. It shows the SageTV logo, and then turn itself of again.


Any tips?
I run the second latest beta release (was about to update it today).

I would report the issue to SageTV.

If you haven't already tried unplugging the unit for a complete reboot, do that. If you have already tried that, then check the "clients" subfolder of the server's SageTV install location & see if the HD200's property file has gotten corrupted somehow. Renaming the <mac address of HD200>.properties may help. Or, try renaming its .autobackup copy too if that is also corrupt.

I left it complete off to cool down (in another cooler room, even). I tried after 10 minutes. No go. New 20 minutes. Nothing. Then another 30 minutes. That helped.

It booted, I've applied the update, and now it seems very happy again. It could be that I've updated the SageTV server but not the HD200 before now... ?

Hmmm! It happened again! Typical after the screen saver slide show has been running for some time and I want to resume the video...
