Just to throw in something to the pot here, but I don't see the need to even have a NAS, if you're running a dedicated sage server on the same network. There is going to be plenty of free cpu cycles on the dedicated sage server to handle any sort of file serving duties you will be throwing at it. Plus, keeping the storage attached to the server will improve recording performance, reduce total system count by one and lessen network congestion. WHS, FreeNAS, et al, are great for full time file servers, but they don't really do anyhting for you aside from the file duplication, which could be done with windows dynamic disks just as well... if duplication is something you're looking for.
