Will preloading of thumbnails be ported to SageMC?

Just curious if the new preloading of thumbnails in the stock STV can be ported into SageMC? This would be a nice feature, but I know so little about how STVs work, I don't know how much work this would involve. (I'm not in any hurry to have this feature, BTW. Just curious...)

You can already do this by enabling cache at startup/

I'm curious about what SageMC does... in the default STV, we have a forked thread that watches the current table focus point & preloads the next/prev pages of thumbs during periods of inactivity.

I don't think that preloads the the next page of thumbnails though. I think that merely keeps the thumbnails in memory AFTER they've been loaded/displayed for the first time. (I could be wrong though)

My understanding is it caches all the thumbs in memory at startup.

I could be mistaken as well I haven't looked at that part of the code but I know my thumbs are always loaded on the next screen before hitting down so it is instant.
