Initial only when new movies are added they are scaled/transformed on demand

Movies jumping from file system directory up to root

I installed 6.6 with sagemc 6.3.9b_12 with bmt 3.1. Everything works great up to the point were I use bmt to search for the Metadata after which time the movies disappear from the file path they are supposed to be in, up to the same level as everything else, ROOT. Why is that? And how can I fix it?

This is using SMW or SageMC? Assuming that it is SMW, it is probably the same bug that was present in SageMC 6.3.9a when combined with BMT 3.1, Plucky will have to update SMW to use the new (SageMC 6.3.9b) method of displaying the filesystem view in SMW.

Yes. You are correct that I am using SMW V.4.

then as Plucky confirmed it is a bug in SMW (the same bug that was in SageMC 6.3.9a that BMT 3.1 found). SMW and SageMC draw the filesystem view completely separately so the patch for SageMC did not effect SMW. Plucky is releasing a patch for SMW soon that will fix the file system view in SMW (among other things).

What is the relationhip between Categories, Groups, and Filters? The terms all seem very similar and are used in a similar way SMW. I am trying to figure out how to see Blu-Ray only from the Filter list. Filter has predefinded entries. Can I change these? How do I associate a given movie with these labels? I looked in the movie.properties file, but do not see how to set the metatdata on a given movie.

I added a Group, but do not see where it shows up anywhere else to use the group.

Is the Genre a Category? Can I filter on Category, Group or "the Filter list?"

Is there a write up on this somewhere?
Thanks

Is there a way to get the "External Apps" plugin working with SageMovieWall? I use this to launch VirtualCloneDrive to mount a Blu-ray ISO and then launch PowerDVD. I can't find a way to press this button from the List View.

Also, this must be a simple question, but not found the answer - How do I select and play a movie shown on the Refelections home screen?

cheers!

Categories = Genres. The filters are a completely different thing. IE Blu-Rays only filters blurays that are native format rips as does DVD Filter. You can also "custom" tag movies with the tagging menu.

OKay working on the "watched" icons/status.

Basically lets you know where you are in the movie/show as well.

see attached screenshot for list view and let me know your thoughts

Might be a bit busy with all the watched lines, but I'd definitely use that.

Great job on v4 BTW. I finally built my rackmount server and upgraded everything. I'm not impressed by the way BMT deals with TV series, but that's another story.

Try TVE for your tv series or try WAFTV (when it comes out)

I Use TVExploter for TV shows and SMW just for movies.
What's missing in SMW for me is just the UNWATCHED filter so the WATCHED are gone. All the rest is GREAT!
Thanks

Okay so are people wanting a watched filter or a watched icon(bar) on each movie?

i think a watched/unwatched filter and a watched icon... the watched bar is overkill... makes sense for tv shows (... mmm maybe thats a feature request for TVE) but not for movies

Agreed. An Icon and filter is perfect.

I could have swore that there was already a watched bar in TVE.
