Wake Up Sage (redux)
I am also having problems waking sage TV up without going to the task bar. I followed the previous thread on this topic, downloaded wakeupsage.exe and inserted the line
GRNPOWER={run(wakeupsage.exe)} in the default section of irremote It works great the first time. Follow-on attempts produce nothing. If I execute the program "Restart IR", then I again can wake up Sage from sleep, but only one time. This one's a big problem to go "full time" with Sage as I'm the only person in the household that could start the TV. Tom |

This might have something to do with the 'state' of the Hauppauge IR Remote program since restarting it clears up the problem. This page has the most detail I've found about it: http://dschnabel.virtualave.net/irdocen.htm

You don't need wakeupsage.exe anymore, instead you can just run
SageTV.exe -wakeup

What versions support that option? I run 1.2.8, and when I type the command, I get a message dialog that says that there is already a running instance. SageTV is in sleep mode at that time.
How would you like me as a beta tester? |

Whoops. Wrong flag, it's -awake
