Support for .TY files extracted from Tivo?

Any plans for support to play back .TY files from a Tivo? In either standalone or extender mode?

I currently convert my .TY files to .MPG but I lose the closed captions in the process. I can convert to MPG without losing captions using Tytool, but I'm looking for a command line interface method. All the CLI I've tried strip out the CC.

I would also like to know this (ty or ty+). These files can be played with WMP with a codec installed, but was wondering if it worked "out of the box" with the 200?
If not, can codecs be added to the 200 units?
Thanks

Does CCextractor work on TY files? If so you can just rip the subtitles out, and then convert to MPEG and then Sage will use the external subtitle file.

Can the TyShow codec be installed to allow the viewing of .ty files? I am not sure if this is done in the software, or in the extender itself. Here is some info on the codec. Please let me know if this is something I can add, or needs to be submitted as a feature request.

TyShow is a codec that allows video files extracted from a modified TiVo to be played back in Windows using any program that supports the Microsoft Windows DirectShow multimedia framework. TyShow is not for playback of shows extracted from an unmodified TiVo using [TiVoDesktop]. TyShow plays files both standard definition shows from Series 1 and 2 TiVos and high definition shows from a Series 2 DirecTiVo; there is no Series 3 support at this time.
