Adaptec Videoh's remote control

I have the Videoh Media Center capture card and I download the latest trail version on Sage TV. So far the software works great and I really like the layout of the software.

But it does not seem to work with the remote control that came with my capture card. Does anyone know if the Adaptec remote control is compatable with Sage TV. I'm trying to find out if the remote does work and I just have something set up wrong. or if the remote is not compatable.
