alright. all i can get out of it is the "unable to create video window" (try lowering your screen resolution) error when i fire up the nvmm application.

any ideas?

the codecs are a no go in zoom (pin error) and sage (mpeg error)

adding the "-p multimedia" switch to the nvmm shortcut allowed me to access the player at least.

Thats strange, it worked great for me in sage. It looked good in zoomplayer also. Just locked up during ff and rw with zoom. What type of video card do you have?

What are you guys using for video cards, I'm beginning to think this version only works on nVidia cards, I get the same "Unable to ...." error on my Radeon 9500.

i'm using an fx5900xt and fwmm wont work but back when i installed the program i was using a radeon card so that may have left enough registry entries to be causing the problem.

Hopefully FWMM will be released Wednesday with the NV40 Geforce 6000 series and we can just use it.

Hey works fine on my system after I installed it over the top of 2.55
But pretty much seems like the same program only thing is I was unable to get the nvidia properties to come up from the task bar but I was having trouble with this before with 2.55
I even tried the right click and move mouse pointer across the video being played back, huh.........

Most of the time, I've still seen tearing a couple times, but not constantly like before. Kind of funny that the nVidia DVD player fixed my VMR9 tearing on my ATI card.

Have you actually had the NVPP work in Sage? I enabled it in nVDVD but when I go to filter properties with Sage playing I see Deinterlace Control as "Best available" where as in nVDVD Best available is replaced by "Smart via NvPostProc"

I see that in every video program that accesses NVDVD codecs. I'm hoping it's just a .dll update to NVDVD so that is gives all the settings that are avalable in NVDVD 3.0. I know they are working because you can see a picture difference if you turn off the post processing. You just can't access the settings from the system tray.
