Problem with DTVCL .DLL install
I was wanting to get this thing changing my DirecTV box last night. I placed the .DLL file in the common folder in the Fry's directory. I went to install the registry entry, and it reports that it is unable to do so because it contains a Binary entry.
When I go into Regedit to do this, it says it will wipe out all the tree data if I proceed. A little confused. I am running Win XP Pro, on a P4 1.8a with 1 gig ram. |

I already have them, have been using them with WinTVcap and Windows scheduler for some time.
MY problem is that Windows XP is rejecting the Registry Key file which ships with the .dll file. It tells me (when I double click the included .reg file) that I can't load Binary keys into the registry in that manner, that I need to go into regedit to do it. EDIT -- And of course, I am Administrator of the machine... |

Okay, I corrected an omission in the .reg file which ships with the .dll I refer to:
Old: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sage\EXETunerPlugin] "command"="dtvcmd.exe #%CHANNEL%" To the top of this file, I added: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 It is now a valid registry entry. Windows now processes it. |

Thanks for catching that. I fixed it; the updated ZIP file will appear on the website shortly.
