No I could get rid of the timestamp but I know my wife would kill me

I usually have it set on don't compress

I moved the title to the bottom because I plan on adding description/runtime etc below it hopefully.

I have never had a need but if others had I want to keep them in the submenus
personally I think they take up usable real estate in the regular screen.

how about you make them show up along the top when the info key is pressed.

Definitely the transparancy. The halo, I'm indifferent, but it adds an extra visual marker that some people may like.

Below is with transparancy on the on selected but still moving down when selected and growing slightly

Also what do you think of the "halo" effect behind the selected?

As always thanks for any opinions
Wow! Very slick!

Option 1 w/ halo please

Halo is a great addition.

I'm indifferent now. With the Halo and larger, it stands out enough that either transparency or not will work.

Thanks for the feedback guys really appreciate it. You will probly not get any new screens for a couple of days. Thanks to the help of JaminBen I am starting working on getting the import more widely accepted by sagemc and using my own themes within the import and basically just cleaning house. The visual's are almost finalized now it is just the behind the scenes work I need to finish.

I still hope to have a build out to the testers that volunteered by the end of the weekend but it may be next week depending on how all this goes.

I'm joining this a bit late, but nice work!

Put me down as one of those that would love to see this ported over to Music. I don't have much in the line of video collection, but I do use the Music. It would also be nice to have scroll left to right added as an option, if possible.

And my vote is for #2 - Halo with transparency. Perhaps this can be an option as well? Alpha value could be put in configuration options and the user can set at 255 if they don't want transparency - or set the transparency as desired (similar to the Advance Mini Guide).

I feel I made good progress today and I am slowly but surely going to get this import done. The sage studio is different that is all I will say

Rest assured I am now determined to get everything working like a want and will keep giving progress updates as I go so no one thinks I have ditched this hopefully soon to be great import

Guys first Beta Went out Today Thought I would share with everyone a latest Screen Cap.

I added Ben's dvd cover art over the selected to give more of a reference point on current selection I think it works quite well.

Plucky, Plucky, Plucky,

I have read so many of your posts between TGB, OML, and now here. You were the one who convinced me to give Sage TV a try, and pick up a HD 200. Now you come up with this

You are going to end up making me leave VMC altogether

Excellent work my friend!

Thanks Dravor I was driven to do this by missing Video Browser and OML so much from Vista

Wanted to give everyone another updated screen cap.

http://s714.photobucket.com/albums/w...nteredHalo.jpg

We are in what I hope is the final Beta build if all goes well should have a version for everyone to enjoy within a week or two depending on results from last beta. This project has come along ways from the start and I think the end results are really looking good.

I stumbled over here due to your picture/music thread. I hadn't seen or heard about this until today, but I'm very glad I found it! I've started ripping my movies recently and found the screen to be wanting. This is precisely the kind of layout I was looking for! AWESOME work! You mentioned making this work better or more with SageMC. It does currently work with it, though, right?

<soapbox> As far as thanking developers, I tend to thank them in my own way: by struggling with things as long as possible before posting questions. I'm very grateful for the blood, sweat and tears they pour into these things which they give away FOR FREE! I feel like, "Who the hell do you think you are to bother them with questions or problems, given the time they've devoted to it?" I wish some others around here would consider that before posting something rude and completely uncalled for. </soapbox>

This has gotten me thinking about something. I'm going to post it up and see what kind of response it gets.

Is the transparency going to be an option? Even if it's in the properties file?

I can't wait to try this, but since I go away for a week in a couple weeks my wife has banned me from touching anything since my Sage setup is currently stable.

Transparancy went away currently due to something wierd that happens in Sagestudio. Don't know if I can get it back but hoping.
