Shaw - Fox (24) and NBC (Chuck) 5C protected?

Hi all,

I just got into the HD capture goodness with Sage on my Motorola DCT 6200 via Firewire. I've been reading up on it and was under the impression that no channels on Shaw were 5C protected except for the premium ones. My recording of 24 on Fox and Chuck on NBC yesterday didn't work. Not sure if it was 5C, but the rest of my recordings worked fine. Anyone else have this issue?

Depends where you are. I'm in Vancouver and have no 5C protection. I recorded 24 off FOX and had no problem and I record plenty off NBC.

You said the rest of your shows worked fine.... where any of the other shows on NBC or FOX?
