Converting MP4 to DVD and what is AC3
Hello - I have two quick questions (I think they are quick).
1. What is the fastest way to take an MP4 video on my computer and burn a DVD from that? I know I can copy the mp4 to a DVD quickly in data format but if I want to allow it to play in most DVD players then I have to go through a conversion. I know one way would be to convert it with Sage but I'm not sure if there are better ways. 2. Using sage conversion to DVD I see it has an AC3 option and I'm not sure what that is. Thanks, Mike

To convert MP4 to DVD you will need to reencode to DVD specs (MPEG2) using something like Nero Recode or TMPGEnc.
AC3 refers to the format of the audio. For DVD the audio needs to be either AC3 or MPEG. AC3 is guaranteed to play on all DVD players.
