DVD Fab 5
I wonder if anyone is using DVD Fab 5 to make avi backups of there DVDs for playback through sageTV MVP.
I'm having trouble finding a nice SageTV compatible set of conversion parameters MKV containers don't seem to work at all. and the AVI containers are somehow switching the center and front left channels. - Greg

For the MVP I just leave it in the .VOB format. That works on the MVP. Why convert it at all? See the page in the Sage manual regarding the subdirectory format for DVDs. (Appendix I page 260)
