Video freezes or is choppy
I currently have a Sony Vaio with the GigaPocket software installed, but I'm really dissatisfied with it. SageTV has been the only PVR I have been able to get to work with my TV tuner (of which I have no idea what it is, as Sony apparently won't release that information).
I would almost certainly purchase this if I could get it to consistently work. On my decoders, I have the default, NVIDIA, Cyberlink/SP, and Intervideo. The NVIDIA returns the error "unable to find the specified MPEG-2 video decoder filter." If I set it to Cyberlink, previously recorded video will playback fine for a while, and then start to skip, the audio and video is choppy. It's not something that has actually happened on the recording, and if I try to rewind or fast forward, it freezes with no audio or video. The default and Invervideo settings play fine for 5-10 minutes, and then the video freezes, but the audio continues. This happens on both live tv and recordings. If I shut the program down or put it to sleep, the problems stop and then resume a few minutes into playback.
Does anyone know of any solution?
