HD100 starts skipping for no reason!
I have recently fired up SageTV again. I am watching live tv and the HD100 will just start skipping. It is the only extender I am utilizing right now and the server is doing NOTHING. The connection is wireless however nothing else changes on the network. Usually turning off the HD100 and then turning it back on (only with the switch in the back) corrects the problem.
Any ideas or thoughts? Is the hd100 failing? Gulp. Neil |

Its the wireless, I used to have the same problem before I gave up and went to wired.
It'd work fine one day and then for no reason it would just stop working like your describing. Its wasn't the HD100's fault though, the wireless bridge for some reason just stopped being able to give the HD100 the throughput it needed. |

I put a dedicated wireless network together for it so we can see if maybe my laptop or something else was eating up the bandwidth. I suspect that is what it was because this last time it did clear up without me intervening. I will report on my findings!
Thanks, Neil |

I see something very similar to what you are describing. The skipping or stuttering becomes very consistent, like every 3-4 seconds. Only power cycling with the rear power switch corrects the problem. I am also concerned that my HD100 is dying. I'm curious to see how your testing goes. I see this maybe once a week or so. I have a wired setup. I haven't contacted support yet. If it continues, then obviously I will.
