What is the 10 foot interface?
I've seen references to it, but I just don't understand what it is. It is "just" the name of SageTV's user interface or something more, less, or different?

"10 foot interface" is a generic term for a user interface designed for a TV screen, typically with limited screen space, large fonts, and accessed by a handheld remote control. The design requirements for this are obviously different than for a high-res desktop UI with lots of screen real estate and accessed by keyboard and mouse.

It's generally used in reference to the user interface being used on a television set, projector or other device that provides a screen much, much larger than your typical PC monitor. Because these screens are larger and you would generally sit 10 ft (or more) away from it. The reference is to how the UI is designed to take advantage of the larger screen real estate and being so far away from it and using a remote as opposed to a mouse and keyboard.
