Why is SageTV always recording?

Lately I've noticed that when I bring up SageTV Client or SageTV it seems to be recording...always.

If I go to 'My TV' on my client (running the SageMC interface) and then to recorded programs, whatever is currently running in live TV shows up as a recorded program.

The 'record' icon is also constantly on.

I haven't found the reason for this yet and I certainly don't want it there. When I got to my recorded shows, I only want to see what I've recorded.

I used to use BeyondTV and I know that it would spin up some sort of recording at the start of each show for the channels the tuners used to be set to (saw this via the logs) but it never showed up in a list.

What I don't want is the constant recording to affect my machine performance which I believe it's doing.

"Live TV" is a recording. If you leave Sage on Live TV all the time, then it will always be recording (and the shows it records will show up in the recordings list). This also applies if you have your menus set to play Live TV constantly in the background or in a preview window.
