Playback seeking / seek issues.. SageTV v6.0.19

I am having a problem viewing certain arbitrary recordings.. The recordings occur properly -- are "there" and appear to be complete.. and I can play them "from start to finish" with no problem as long as I just let the recording play.. however, if I try to "seek" through a recording (e.g. Either hit "skip ahead" or "skip back" on the remote, or, use the mouse to bring up the playback slider and then try to skip to any other part of the recordiing), one of two things happens: 1) The playback either reverts back to the very beginning of the recording, or 2) A seek happens and playback continues, but not at the new right place in the recording.. (e.g. If I "skip ahead" 10 seconds with the remote .. I don't actually get to 10 seconds ahead.. it's some time index beyond that.. if I immediately "skip back" 10 seconds with the remote, I don't get to the place where I started when I "skipped ahead").

This used to happen occasionally, but, is happening to 20-30% of recordings and is now officially driving me insane. If I view the recording with a different player (e.g. Winamp), the recording itself is fine and the other player seeks just fine... This seems to be a playback issue with SageTV. I can find no other correlating information..

Running windows XP with SageTV v6.0.19. Ideas? Is this just me, or have others seen this issue?

Yeah, i had that happening to me to.

The fix is to upgrade to the latest version of Sage, the beta version 6.5.12 I believe. The reason why the upgrade fixes it is because of the updated MPEG demuxer they have included.
