Verizon FiOS Firewire
I see the HD PVR model for Verizon FiOS has a Firewire port and it shows that if your HD TV has Firewire you can connect the STB to the TV via Firewire instead of Component or HDMI (This is according to the manual posted at http://www22.verizon.com/content/Com..._UserGuide.pdf )
If that's the case, can I run the Firewire into my PC and record off it? That would be awesome!

I only use firewire to change channels on the FiOS box.
