Background Recording
I am building a HTPC system. I want to be able to record a channel while viewing another one. Would I need 2 TV tuners cards and 2 cable boxes or is there a better way?

Well you will need 2 tuners and 2 cable boxes if you want ALL the digital channels, if you can survive with analogue channels on one tuner you would only need 1 cable box.
