Cell Phone - Provider and model

Ok, I've been with Verizon for a while. I know its a matter of preference on price, location (if it works where you are), plans, etc.

I've been pissed at verizon for always locking down phones and if it has bluetooth, they disable the obex transfer protocol.

Verizon double dips (if you don't have the data/picture/texting plan) when someones sends or receives a picture or text. For instance, if my wife sends me a text, she gets charged 10 cents and I get charged 10 cents to receive it.
Same goes for pictures but it's 25 cents (prices may be different now but this was about 2 years ago).

I know phone companies are in business to make money. But seem that Verizon, locks stuff down and make it a way so they can get more revenue.

Here's what I'm looking for...

*A phone not so LOCK'd down.
*Wifi capable
*True BlueTooth (not lock'd down)
*Able to get stuff off the phone without hack'n. If I have to hack, so B it.
