USB-UIRT and wake up PC

I'm trying to get my USB-UIRT to wake my computer from standby. I put it into standy using event ghost and the SageTV power key. But I need to get the USB-UIRT to wake it up.

Does anyone here have this working?

My MB is the: Gigabyte GA-E7AUM-DS2H

I have enabled USB devices to wake the computer.

I have programmed the USB-UIRT using the lrnhelper utility.

but no love.

I can see the USB-UIRT flash when I hit the power key on the remote I can see in the lrnhelper utility that the remote is sending the correct code.

Any other ideas?

thanks,
dave

Won't be much help to you I'm afraid, but I have never been able to get any of my machines to wake from standby by remote without it creating issues with them either not sleeping when I want them to or waking randomly.
I resorted to setting them to sleep if they are inactive for more than 30mins and to wake we hit the power button on the front. It does mean you have to get out of your seatto fire them up, but under most circumstances we would power up once and the 30minute timeout is enough to keep a session active for us without getting up and down all the time. This has the benefit of making sure everything goes into low power mode when my daughter walks away and leaves it on.

Thank you very much! The combination for the MCE sleep tool and the new version of lrnhelper I got it working. I did not know you had to unplug the USBUIRT and plug it back in to get the sleep functions to work. My version of lrnhelper 002 did not tell you that.

just out of curiosity, will sage wake the computer to record TV? I haven't looked into sleeping my SMC machine to save hydro, but after looking over my last electric bill it might be a good idea

Yes it will. You can configure the setting in the setup area.
