stanger89, nope that's total bunk. Just screws up how the partition is read. I have seen it happen on screwed up drives before. That extra space does not really exist.

Yeah, I remember accidently setting a 4Gb drive to 6Gb in the bios back in the day. It worked fine but I'm glad I never tried to put more than 4Gb on it before I realized i goofed.
