At what bitrate do you run your HDPVR?

I just got mine yesterday, and I'm in the process of setting it up.
By default its set to 8Mbps.
What setting are you using?

I use the maximum speed it allows. Disk space is too cheap to sacrifice quality, IMHO.

Excuse the ignorance and not trying to steal the thread, but you change the quality by changing your recording quality in sage correct?

Oh. I thought that setting the quality of the recordings was via TME.
Thanks

The only settings I see say, for example, "5.9 GB/hour." Trini0, how did you see 8Mbps? Or are you just doing the math?

Ultimately I believe I was mixing up the HDHR with the HDPVR as far as setting the recording quality.
The 8Mbps setting is in the TME application.
