WinTV 350 and Sage in the UK

Can I take it from the fact that this forum exists that you guys have been able to use the Sage software and get it working with a Sky Digi Box (I don't have an analogue ariel so this is really important).

The reason I ask is that on the TV Service forum someone is asking about UK coverage and it's been answered as not available and as I haven't bough the WinTV 350 card yet I don't want to fork out for it until I know I will be able to do everything I want to.

Basically I would like to verify the following

1. That Sage TV software can be tuned to work for the UK
2. That I will be able to automatically update the UK listings
3. That I will be able to use the multiple channel record facility.

Many thanks for your time

Sarah

For best results you'll need to convert the RBG signal from the output of your digibox box into S-Video input for the 350 card.

There are a few convertors about - Maplin code QS45Y for example

TV listings for UK can be had with XMLTV

Changing the channel of your digibox requires an "IR Blaster" - a popular one is USB-UIRT - the can also be ordered from the Sage site for UK delivery
