Solution: Sage / HD-PVR lock up/freeze when I turn the TV on / change source.

I have a ATI 3870HD video card and was plugging into my TV with a 3rd party "HDMI to DVI" cable.

I switched to the HDMI / HDMI cable and use the HDMI/DVI adapter that came with the video card and sage no longer locks up when I turn the TV on or change video sources like it used to.
