Dual monitor --> different resolutions ---> Full Screen Mode
Here is a post that I put on another thread. It probably should be in its own. It was in regards to someone asking about why they cant see the whole sage screen.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Can adjusting the overscan help for the problem of dual monitor setup where one monitor (in this case 800x600 TV) is lower resolution than my main PC monitor? I find that I have to keep sage in a window, and move it so you cant see the tool bar/window borders on the TV. If I make it full screen you can only see a small portion of the screen as it is trying to make it 1280x1024 like my flat panel. I read on another thread that this problem can be solved by changing my main monitor res to match the sageTV monitor res. This is an unacceptable thing for me as flat panels look terrible at any other than native resolution. Also, I work on my computer while watching TV so 800x600 is unbearably fisher price. Additionally, anyone know of a way to force sage to always load at specific screen coordinates? It always defaults back to monitor 1. Thanks! |

I thought that was fixed in .13.

I can't run .13 as it causes my pvr-250 remote to malfunction. I guess Ill wait until the next beta to see what is what!

I will try to remember to test this tonight. I have been one of the complainants on this issue.

.13 fixed this issue for me. I can now run Sage in full screen at 800x600 on the TV and run the monitor at any resolution I want without it affecting Sage.
Good stuff! |
