I remember during the McCarthy hearings in the 1950s lots of people were accused of being CARNY traitors.

I think that was Commie traitors... Its hard to imagine that none of the Sage old timers know what any of these names do. The Carny is especially interesting, I can't begin to imagine how carnival workers figure into Sage. Some sort of SideShow?

I'm sure those names mean something to the Sage devs who wrote the code and the support techs who process the logs. I don't think they're supposed to be meaningful to anybody else. Personally I wouldn't lose much sleep over it.
