Out of PCI

I am in love with sage!! thank you to all the authors and the people that have helped me get this thing running.

I now have another issue.. I am totally out of pci slots. I have 1 1600 and 1 2250 giving me 3 tuners. I would like to add another 1 or 2.. With no pci, is there a good usb tuner that sage will support?

thanks

What sort of tuner? Analog, digital OTA, QAM?

For digital OTA, I use Vbox 3560 ATSC tuners and am very happy with them.

If you use more than one USB tuner, be sure to plug them into a powered USB 2.0 hub. Motherboard USB controllers typically cannot power more than one or two external tuner devices.

Well I just run cable straight to the cards now. No digital tuner box. I also had no luck with QAM.. So I am assuming, I want analog..

Thanks

I had (and misplaced) a Pinnacle HD-USB stick that worked with Sage but I only used it for analog.

EDIT: speaking of which, I just found it after searching for months. Now I can add another tuner to Sage or use it to test w7.

EDIT2:
This device used to work with Sage on WHS but now I'm not able to get it working. If you're using XP or Vista it may still work but I'm not sure I'd recommend it now...

You might be able to get the original Hava Wireless... it has two analog tuners and is a network attached device. the current hava units (including the wireless) do not have analog tuners but I was able to get a old model wireless recently new from ... sundhian?

I can't speak to how well it works I bought it as a backup at my old job to the hava platinum we had (the wireless cost me the same as the platinum and seemed like a better deal!)
