WHS and MCE IR Blaster
Anyone had luck getting the MCE IR Blaster to work with Windows Home Server?
I've got a fresh install of WHS and SageTV with no customizations. Two Hauppauge 1600 cards connected to two DirecTV receivers. I've got the entire setup working with Vista but want to move to WHS. So far, I've found a driver which works with the Blaster. I've installed HIP and gotten that to work as well. Now I'm to the HIPWSend/SageTV connection and seem to be at an impass. Changing the configuration in Sage to send the channel changes to Notepad does not seem to work with WHS. Notepad does not launch but does start a process called Notepad in the Task Manager. I'm guessing that the security on WHS is preventing Notepad from starting. If I can get past this one last issue I think it will work. |
