Support for Centon PCI tuner card?
This is what I need - if sage supports this, I'll be in heaven.
http://www.engadgethd.com/2009/01/09...for-windows-m/ Of course, I can't find anywhere if it will support HD, where encoding is done, what it is encoded to, how it records 6 channels with 1 cablecard slot, if my electric bill quadruple and make my house need a 2nd air conditioner, but besides that, I'm in!! |

Nope. CableCard requires a special BIOS and a special Windows key that are only available when you purchase a "blessed" system from an OEM, like Dell.
It would support HD, and no encoding would be done since it's just capturing the digital bitstream off the cable. * closed; more recent discussion about cable card continues elsewhere * |
