Remote turns on/off TV?

Anyone know if the Extender remote can be programmed to power toggle the TV?

If you happen to have an MCE remote it will work with the extender as well as turn your TV on and control the volume on the TV.

I have this one:

Or you can use the TV remote or any cheap universal remote. Although the extender remote isn't programable or learning the extender itself is.

Get a Harmony remote - it replaces all others. I have about 5 of them.

I got the cheap Harmony I posted the link to above and it is awesome. I use it to control my: TV, SageTV HD100 extender, amplifier/speakr and Dish TV HD box.
Very easy to use also.

If you are feeling adventurous you can reprogram any JP1 capable remote using a JP1 cable and software to support the SageTV extender.

I use a ReplayTV 5000 remote control and have it controlling the SageTV extender and my TV.
