ComSkip question

I love Sagetv and comskip but is there a way to watch a show with comskip while the show is recording? Currently, I have to wait till a show is done recording before comskip works.

How are you calling comskip? I know there is an option in the setup of comskip monitor to start running as the program is recording.

I run comskip monitor. Comskip starts to work on a recoding immediately as soon as a program starts.

If you are looking to have comskip allow you to skip commercials on live tv, that is not possible. However, if you start to watch a recording 15 minutes after it began, comskip should be working on live tv and you should be able to skip commercials until you get caught up or close to caught up.

I cannot speak for comskip monitor but I user Dirmon2 and it allows me to do this.

Yes, I would like to watch a recording 15-30 min into the show and have comskip to work. Right now, comskip works but only after show is fully recorded.

I think I remember an item in the comskip.ini that you have to set. I can't remember exactly what it is off the top of my head. Something like live_tv.
