Extender video decoding question
Hello,

I'm new here and have been digging through the forum to find out some info about the extenders. Do the extenders do the decoding or is that done through the pc?

On my pc the HD video is great but the standard resolution has a lot of artifacts in it.

The HD extenders (HD100/HD200) do all the decoding themselves. The MVP extender only supports SD MPEG-2, any other format is transcoded by the server PC into SD MPEG2 on the fly.
