Live TV Quit working
I recently replaced my system board and CPU on my HTPC. I reloaded XP on a larger drive, and went about setting everything up. After getting Sage installed, I was watching TV through the software and my PVR 350. The quality was very grainy and poor. Not what it was like before. DL'ed the new drivers and updated decoders from Hauppauge and deceided to check my connections.
I found I had my coax going into the FM port on the card. I put it back on the TV port. At the same time I updated the drivers and decoder. After a restart, whenever I click on the LIVE TV button in Sage, nothing happens. No errors or flicker, and the PVR 350 Svid out is the color bars. I DL'ed the wintv program from Hauppauge and am able to watch TV from that. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Sage and looked through the forums hoping to find a similar situation. Any suggestions? |

Is this a problem with recordings also? I would think so, but but you only mention live TV so its not clear.
I would suggest going back into the setup and remove the card and then readd it. It may be that SageTV did a scan of stations when you had the coax going into the wrong port. Just an idea, I am not sure if SageTV even scans for stations.
