Issues with moving recordings to new drive with beta versions 6.5.5 and 6.5.6

I have moved recording to new drives probably 8-10 times in the past with miminal trouble, but I am having problems with this 6.5.6 (and 6.5.5). I followed directions exactly From Opus's "how to":
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?p=265599

A couple of things that I am seeing.
1. After moving files, I rename the old directory, startup sage, the video files show up in sage in new location (sometimes), sage recreates the old directory (which it used to not do?). If I play and then stop a recording, it then locks up when going back to sagetv recordings (more detail in #2).

2. After moving files, startup sage, click on "Sagetv Recordings", and get a permanent spinner and have to force quit sage (and start over with backed up wiz.bin file). Sage also starts up SagetvTranscoder and it pegs at 100% (on one of the cores).

I have 6 drives that I am replacing with two 1.5tb hds.

I also have comskip setup on the server and have one HD200 setup for SageMC.

Any ideas?

A clean install with just wiz.bin and sage.properties fixed this issue. Now time to add back in all of the customizations one by one.
