Video file with FLV extension locks up HD200 at end of playback

Due to a discussion in another thread http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...0&postcount=10

I checked out if a flv file would playback on the HD200 when loaded locally from a flash drive. It made sense that it would since YouTube is flash video too.

The video played back fine until the end of the video and then it just stayed on screen and when the *stop* button was pressed, the system went "busy" and the spinning circle never stopped until the power was pulled.

The same file would play back in extender mode but the spinning circle would go away after a couple of seconds and the file would stop.

So... I checked out how SageTV would save the files it pulled from YouTube and I saw it saved them as MP4's.

I then renamed the same flv file I used earlier with an mp4 extension and the HD200 would then handle the end of file correctly. It seems that the HD200 is not able to determine how the end a file with an flv extension. I guess it should be fairly easy for the SageTV guys to fix though.

Bug report submitted but here it is for others to be aware of...

Ran into this for the first time this evening. My FLV was from the "Media Centers\Videos" section of SageTV Server, not standalone in this case. Had to pull the power to reset the HD200.

If I manually "STOP" playing an FLV before the end, it's fine.
