sagetv HD200 extender, excellent first impression

I can sum it up in one word......

FANTASTIC!!!!!

If you've got a sagetv server, then this is the perfect addition.... Nice one sagetv on a product well done.

Just got mine (37£ of duty to pay though) but its worth it.

Yes, I've found it to work very well on SD and HD content. For the first time I can also watch the luxetv channel.... figure I was not missing much there.

Just the latest release firmware on the hd200 and sagetv 6.3.4 on the server.

what firmware you using? Can't remember mine but its the lasted production release. Same with my server 6.4

Gigabit topology, albeit 100MBS on the HD200

Latest Beta firmware on the HD200 (as advised by Sage) Although the HD200 reports 6.4.x incorrectly as the server.

Doesn't matter whether it running from the server, USB or Online -5-10m minutes in it locks up.

Its been reported so I await some firmware revisions ! I don't think much will be resolved on the forum

Unfortunately for you I am afraid that this sounds like a hardware problem with a component heating up & failing rather than anything fixable in firmware.
