Still Can't Fast Forward?

Even in the latest beta, I can't seem to fast forward. (I thought htis was fixed in the previous beta)

Am I doing something wrong? Is this a known problem? (How do I start tracking it down?)

If by can't you mean that it get stuck with the wheel of death. then you should try to switch the MpegDemux in the common directory to the one from version 6.4.8

i have similiar problem, even on Extender.
they do not plan to fix it?

My concern is that I'll need a workaround for the release as well.. Im guessing that sage knows abiut thw problem and the work around. Is resolving this issue going to be in the official release?

I am having this issue with 6.5.5... All media that have this issue is also reported as being 0:00 in length.. It is mostly mkv files Im having the issue with

Rescan your media library, that fixed the problem on me

FFWD/REW for me only works with video captured by one of my tuners, not with media browsed nor imported from external files (regardless of format).
