MKV help: H264 video + LPCM/FLAC 5.1 audio

Should the HD-200 be able to playback and MKV file which has an H264 video track plus either a) an LPCM track or b) a multi-channel FLAC file (5.1)?

I thought I read the HD200 handles FLAC, but perhaps not within an MKV file.

Any thoughts? My main goal to to somehow get high def audio into an MKV file. I'd rather not use AC3/DTS, but that is appearing to be the only option.

no go on the multi channel FLAC attempt. Also no go on the LPCM track.

Oh well, I'm either going to have to wait for an updated firmware to support LPCM or go get a popcorn hour a-110.

Yep, right now your only multichannel options are AC3/DTS over SPDIF or HDMI.

Sage said that they hope to get LPCM into a future firmware update for the HD200, but didn't give any other specifics like how high of a priority it is. 5.1 FLAC I imagine will be a much larger issue as it'll probably have to be transcoded into AC3 (or LPCM) on the fly.
