Help with setup(cable STB tuning plugin missing)
While going through setup wizard coming to the point where prompted to
select a tuning plugin to use with HD PVR have the only option available:- DerecTV Serial Control. I don't have any satellite but cable STB connected to HD PVR.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

If you are trying to use the HD PVR's IR blaster, you need to first have the Hauppauge IR blaster software running (blurb on p. 254 of the SageTV v6.4 PDF manual). If it is already configured & running, then I'll leave it to someone else to comment on how to use that blaster.

I'm using USB-UIRT and it worked fine before. I'm doing clean reinstall of SageTV and somehow it doesn't work.

The only thing I can think of is to suggest that if this is a reinstall of the whole system, make sure that the USB-UIRT drivers have been installed.

I don't think I'm doing anything different than my previous install.
I do have USB UIRT drivers installed.
